An Experience About Ooty

So friends welcome back after long time. Now this time I will share my experience about ooty the hill station.

This city is known as "Udagamandalam". It is Located in the nilgiris district of Tamilnadu state. This is popular hill station which is in the nillgiris hills. Local people of  the city is called this city as "Queen OF Hills". Now by not wasting time I will take you to my journey experience.

Start Of The Journey :-

There are two way to reach Ooty, by road and by flight. We go by road. This time I go with my colleagues. We went in our car. The road to get there is very captivating. It is located on a hill so the road is rounded. It was a spectacular view from one side of the road. On the other hand, tea gardens were also coming in between. When we go, the road work was going on, so there was a lot of traffic. We arrived in Ooty at night so we went there and checked-in directly at the hotel. Then we went to go to roam in city by next day. If you look at it, Ooty is the city of gardens and parks.

On next day first we go to government rose garden. I Share one pic of that garden if you want to see more photos you can visit our gallery tab. That garden was amazing. This garden is the largest rose garden in India. This garden is located on elk hill. At present this garden has the largest collection of roses in India. There are an estimated 20000 varieties of roses. Then we went to the government botanical garden after enjoying in rose garden.

Ooty botanical garden was also too big and beautiful. It is probably spread over 22 acres. It was founded in 1847. The garden was green and well maintained. An exhibition of plants of some rare species is held in that garden within the month of May. We went in April so we didn't get to experience it.

Then after enjoying beauty of nature we went to the lake. ooty lake is spread in approximately 65 acres. There is also a boat house, which provides boat facilities to tourists. This lake is the biggest attraction of ooty. We also had the most fun boating on this trip.

Then a local person advised us to experience the Nilgiri mountain railway. So we also went to that location later. The train was built by the British in 1908. This railway is operated by Madras Railway Company. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in July 2005. That railway experience was awesome and also we ride a train after long time which is run by steam. The train passed through the forests of Nilgiri and there were many beautiful nature scenes.

It was late in the evening when we finished the train experience, so we came back to our hotel and the next day we visited a tea factory. That tea factory is spread in approximately one acre. The ooty tea factory is located on the blue hills of Nilgiri. This place is the center of attraction for nature lover, tea lover, photographer. Travelers can learn the whole process of how tea is made here, and also can learn about different kind of tea leaves around globe. It is clearly shown that all the process of making tea inside the factory which is done by machine. And at the end of the visit we tasted various tea there and from there we can also buy specially crafted tea.

After this amazing  experience of city of tea, our tour was over and we were on way to home. If you making plan to come here then April-May month is good for this. So friends this is my experience on my ooty trip, We will come again with new experience of different places.

A Trip Of The Amazing City Diu

So friends welcome back....Today I will share my amazing and thriller experience of 'DIU' journey in this post.

Introduction:-

Diu, The city is a Union Territory of India. Diu is a historic city that was ruled by the Portuguese. The city was part of the Saurashtra region in ancient times and was an important port on the Arabian Sea in the Indian Ocean. If we start writing about the history of this city then we can write full blog so without wasting time we start our journey.....

Start Of My Journey:-

Diu I went with my brothers. To reach Diu, one can now go to Una district by road. We went by road. But there is also a flight facility to get there. after reaching there, all of us want to visit the fort of Diu, so we drove straight to the fort as per our wish. There are many restaurants and hotels on the road so we decided to check-in. on the road so we don't need to keep Luggage together.

Now after check-in. We went to the castle. There is a lot to see so it takes more than 2 hours. There is also a very good location for a photo session in the fort. Even when we went there were many preweading shootings going on. This place is like a paradise for photo lovers. There are many things from the time of the old king like cannons, big doors, granaries, prisons, etc. There is a sea around the fort. That scene also looks very captivating

There is also a lighthouse in the fort which is still in working condition. There you have to get permission to go upstairs in the lighthouse. There is a beautiful view from the top of the lighthouse. Above I have shared the photo of the lighthouse that I had taken in my camera.

There is also a prison in the middle of the sea. There is also a prisoner who was recently released after serving his sentence. Special permission is required to visit the jail where the general public is not allowed to go. I have also shared a photo from there.

Then we went to the famous nagoa beach. It is a favorite destination of all travelers. The sea is a bit calm so it is fun to swim in it. We also enjoyed a lot there. If there was one thing that was most fun, it was adventurous sports. Later that day we visited a few churches and it was evening. Then we went back to the hotel. There is a lot of places to roam in Diu so we had to stay here for 2 days. But we don't know how those 2 days went by.

Now we didn’t have to visit more places the next day. Now we were going to see Naida Caves. So as soon as we got up in the morning we had breakfast and went straight to Naida Caves. These caves are about 1km from the city. Which comes on hadmatiya road. Many movies have been shot in these caves. How these caves came to be is still a mystery. There is a beautiful view when the sun's rays enter the cave during the day. There are no entry fees to enter the cave. You are only allowed to enter the cave till 5:30 pm as the place becomes dark at night.

Then we visited the INS Khukri monument which is located near chakratirth beach where it is known for its open amphitheater and sunset shots. Then there is the dinosaur park on the bay where kids have lot of fun to play.

There are many other places worth visiting like Bird watching sanctuary, Sea Shell Museum, Summer House, Lovers Point. But then we went to some of them. All the photos I took from those places are shared in the gallery tab. If we go to see alcohol is not legal in Gujarat but legal in Diu this is also one reason for that many gujrati is comes for party in diu. Many people come to Diu at Christmas time and the main attraction of  that is the 31st party there.

We didn't want to, but now it was time to leave. So we had to go to the hotel from bird watching sanctuary. Then we checked-out of the hotel and return for home. We spent two days here but these two days were the best enjoyment of our life.

A Trip Of Great Girnar Mountain - 2

Welcome back friends. Now let's not aste time and let's go to the our unfinished talk. Now, after a short break, proceeding from Jain Derasar, there are some small temples with carved perfectly. Which was i captured in my camera. I am sharing that pic with you.

After climbing about 300 to 400 steps comes the "Gau Mukhi Ganga". This temple also has a different significance. Here the Ganga flows from the mouth of the cow and that also continuously in all seasons.

Now after resting back continue climbing again. Now as we go up, the climb becomes harder. Before all we had to get up after 100-200 steps to get rest. Now it is difficult to climb 50-100 steps. After approximately 5000 steps comes the hill of Ambaji Temple.

Now most of the pilgrims return from here after visiting Goddess Amba tample. Because now the journey to Dattatreya is very difficult. Now comes the second break here where all the pilgrims eat. After resting, the journey resumes. Now after 800 steps comes the shikhar of "Gorakhnath Bhagwan".Then the remaining 5000 steps come to the temple of lord Guru Dattatreya. If you want to see photo of guru Dattatreya temple i share in past post. Now after visiting Guru Dattatreya temple our journey is complete and we start to return back to down.

I hope friends you enjoy this article and also you see new places from my blog. I am sharing some photos which i captured during journey.

A Trip Of Great Girnar Mountain

Introduction :

Girnar mountain is located in Junagadh district. Girnar mountain is the highest mountain in Gujarat. There are many temples of gods and goddesses on Girnar mountain. The temple of Lord Dattatre is located on the highest hill of Girnar mountain. The temple is located at an altitude of 1069 meters above sea level. It is also believed that 33 crore gods and goddesses reside on Girnar mountain. There are many legends associated with Girnar. There are 866 small and big temples in Girnar mountain. To climb Girnar, you have to climb 9999 steps. Girnar mountain was formed by a volcanic eruption. If we sit down to write about Girnar, this will not end, so now let's go to my journey...

Start Of My Journey :

My journey was to begin in the morning. All our friends came to Junagadh the day before. Winter is the best time to climb Girnar. It was December when we climbed. Early morning is a good time to climb Girnar. But many also climb at night. Some devotees climb the Poonam Girnar mountain every month. Girnar mountain is located in Bhavnath area. So we did an autorickshaw from our hotel to Bhavnath. Rickshaws are more popular than taxis in Junagadh and especially in Kathiawar. After reaching Bhavnath, the journey to Girnar begins. The ladder to climb Girnar starts from Bhavnath. When we went to climb, many small children and old people also came to climb Girnar. Girnar is a symbol of faith and belief. All come to climb with their faith and they can also climb. We started climbing at 5 in the morning. Many people even climb with the help of a stick. They say that climbing with the help of a stick reduces fatigue. There are many shops on the steps. There is also a street light so that it does not get dark at short distances. Also, the shops are located a short distance away so that it is easy for the travelers to get anything.

With a little climb, there is a very captivating view all around. Which I have captured in my camera some of which I have shared with you in this post. There is a lot of cleanliness here under the "Clean India" campaign. Toilet facilities are also available at short distances. There are also many monkeys in the short time of the climb. They do not harm the oncoming pilgrims they are quiet by nature. The pilgrims give them fruit and food brought with them.

After a few climbs the greenery begins to fade and large boulders begin to appear. For some people who can't climb Girnar, some people climb there by doly. Those people are called "Tedagar". The Tedagar people charge the pilgrims according to their weight.

After climbing 3800  steps comes the temple of Lord Neminath. Which is visible in the photo. There are Jain derasar. It also has a lot of significance.

Jain deasar has hot water bathing facilities and accommodation. this is the first stop of the journey.

Now we stopped here to rest for a while. I will talk about the rest of the journey in the next post which I will post soon. You can submit your opinion to us through comments.
